I have already trouble shot the issue and the portfolio video hosting code that Abe wrote is causing Chrome and internet Explorer to Hang. Chrome actually never finishes loading. And this only happens if portfolio is followed by another element on the page. when portfolio code is the only thing on the page it seems like no problem. But when any element is put after portfolio then hang occurs.

Actually I am not talking about the load time that videos actually take. Since the page your are referring to actually doesn’t have the problem i am talking about because it only has portfolio element on that page with nothing following it.

But the problem exists on the homepage because other elements follow that code and make Chrome actually never fully load. and IE very very slow. I have trouble shoot this issue all the way back to portfolio code. those are really small videos and shouldn’t need 20 min to load. plus when those same videos are on another page they load perfect hence the tool you used to check the other page came back as no issue.

Try Incognito mode with no cookies.

I have tested it on many computers and Chrome never finishes loading for some reason. and only homepage not other pages.

I Have no idea why it would do it for me and not you. I even confirmed this issue by eliminating every code until problem was solved. then added everything back until problem started again. Not my internet because other sites or pages don’t have the problem. And its not just chrome but explorer as well so its not just a browser specific issue. Not my computer because it happens on other computers on my end.

Only thing i can think of is maybe it looks like its fully loaded on your end but if you scroll all the way down you can see icons and images never show up. To see all the images that should appear you can use Firefox to see how everything loads since Firefox for me is the only browser that loads everything correct.

Maybe you want me to take a video of how the page never loads?

I have literally seen Chrome not load the site thousands of times. lol

The chrome problem must of been some kind of defect because when i changed options and saved then reverted back to old options chrome problem is solved for now….. but explorer is still very slow…..

Will try to explain best I can. After further testing it seems that after changing portfolio row quantity and number of videos, saving then re-saving back to original, solved the Chrome problem….But only the chrome problem.

Explorer still loads very slow.

After doing some more testing it seems like if no videos are in portfolio but just text, explorer loads fine. But then even if one video is added the load takes about 30 seconds. All videos are below 60mb. Now the funny thing is whether i include one video or 9 videos in the portfolio, load times are the same. Even thought load capacity increased 9 times. Plus if other browsers are able to load within 3 seconds why does explorer take 30 seconds? also tested different videos and they all load the same.

So Those are the tests I performed and the results I have gotten. What Can I do to fix this?
