Hello,
I have been trying to get answer through this topic https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/matching-system-2#post-60441 but I’m not getting any responses.
How do I go about updating the theme? The backend of the website says that everything is up to date. I’m not seeing any place to update the Sweetdates theme. There is another alert that I’m getting for rtMedia. The alert says “Please update rtMedia template files if you have overridden the default rtMedia templates in your theme. If not, you can ignore and hide this notice.”. Would that be affecting the fact that I don’t see any “Profile matching” option in the Theme Options?
Please Help!
HeatherJune 3, 2015 at 10:20 #60864LauraModeratorHello, to update the theme you can just download the theme again from themeforest then upload it to your wordpress site, if you are using the child theme then you wont lose anything.
But make a backup of your options in the sweetdate import/export section, just in case.

I re-uploaded the newest theme and I’m still getting the rtMedia alert. “Please update rtMedia template files if you have overridden the default rtMedia templates in your theme. If not, you can ignore and hide this notice.” I’m not sure what to do. I also still not seeing options that should come with the theme. I have the Sweetdate theme and their should be “Matching Options” somewhere but I don’t see anything.

June 11, 2015 at 19:36 #62119LauraModeratorHello, that means you didnt update it correctly, please try deleting sweetdate folder and then upload the new version sweetdate folder, do not re-upload child!
NOTE: IF you changed files in main theme, you will lose those changes if they are not in child theme!
Let me know if it works 🙂Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

June 23, 2015 at 21:13 #64588Sitecats Web DevelopmentParticipantHello Laura,
I was able to update the theme successfully and have the Profile Matches show. I’m a bit confused witht he percent for the matching. I’m not sure what the percents should be at. Should they all be 100% or 50%?
HeatherJune 24, 2015 at 16:56 #64707Sitecats Web DevelopmentParticipantLaura,
This is what someone else told me. I believe I understand it now.
When a user visits another users profile the field values will be compared and if both users have the same value set for the exact same field then that field is considered a match. You will select/enable the fields that you want to be used in the overall percentage value, and for each of them you define a percent of the total of 100.
For example you have 5 fields enabled each with a value of 20%. When a user visits another users profile and all 5 fields have the exact same values it means that is a total match (100%.).
If just some field values are the same, let’s say for example 3 of them, then the percentage will be 60%.
