    – New members are not receiving activation emails

    – When they do receive the email, the activation code process does not work

    Please help!

    The manual activation process is a huge problem.

    Kleo doesnt touch any of that. You can probably solve the email issue with https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

    Hard to say what could be causing the activation issue since you havent provided any details. Look for plugin conflicts or google the error message that you are receiving during activation.

    Also, we have been using https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ for about 2 weeks. It does not seem to be providing a remedy to the issue.

    THANKS FOR ANY POSSIBLE HELP!

    We are about to enter our “busy” season and we need to signup/activation process to be close to flawless.

    If you are using a VPS you should also check on dkim email signature settings in your DNS. If these settings are not good the email has a good chance of ending up in junk/spam folder.

    Another thing to check is your SPF in your DNS

    Go to Settings > Email and send yourself a test email. You’ll see the issue.

    550 Your message has been rejected because you have been detected sending spam

    Yes, we are baffled by this message. We have only been in business for 4 months and have not engaged in any kind of mass email that would bring a SPAM label.
