A couple issues here:
1. It takes up to 20 seconds for the login box spinning wheel to stop and tell me that I am logged in….
2. Even after seeing the green successful login text, I am still not logged into the site.
Just getting worse…..now someone who was able to login is reporting that any time he posts in the forum it does not appear after being submitted.
I have now lost the ability to publish posts….wordpress does not seem to be recognizing me as an admin on my own site.
PLEASE PROVIDE SOME HELP!

Mark as a solutionFrom the message you got from your hosting support it seems that some sort of plugin or service related to your woocommerce shop was under excessive usage which probably made your database to temporary fails which had lead to the issues you had with your login experience.
I recommend you to inspect the list of plugins related to woocommerce or any other plugins that you might be using and that might cause a heavy usage and disable them or find an alternative.
As a side note I want to underline that this kind of problems are not related to our theme, they are mainly generated by third party plugins or improper customization of the theme.

After 3 days of pain, Rackspace finally figured out that WP 4.3 has a major bug that allows cron jobs to run and not stop.
This is what killed our site.
I will say, in the past our only issues arose when we upgraded the KLEO. That is why I assumed it was the theme again.
