I am getting a 404 error on every page after I just updated the theme. I need help as my whole site seems to be down and I am not a programmer like everyone else. I am using the Kleo Child Theme.

I deactivated BB Press and now the pages are fine. Is there a compatibility issue. Is there something that I need to do?

No compatibility issue. Try resaving your permalinks. WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks > Save.

I am having the same problem and going into Permalinks and Saving (or changing back to default and saving) doesn’t do anything. Any other thoughts?

Mine doesn’t even load the base page and give a normal 404, it gives a Not Found page that reads as follows (and this occurs for many of the pages):

    Not Found

The requested URL /members-masonry/ was not found on this server.

    Apache/2.4.9 (Win32) PHP/5.5.12 Server at localhost Port 80

As a follow-on, I’m not sure what changed, but changing the original to Default works and allows Members Masonry (as an example) to load, but clicking on the user listed there fails and gives a Not Found error as mentioned above.

Changing it to Post Name or any other option in the Common Settings makes Members Masonry go back to the Not Found error as well.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I was on vacation. I see here that you’ve solved your issue: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/not-found-404-error-permalink-problem
