Hi, I did the update to 3.1 and now all of my headers have been messed up. Take a look at what happend to the padding on the pages: http://werpurple.org/drug_guide/ and http://werpurple.org/the-purple-research-center/. It is actually on all the pages. I have tried to adjust the padding but I think it is being overridden somewhere. Also my main menu reverted back to the standard even though the custom CSS you did for us before is in the general settings…you cant see the menu, you had done a light white fade in the header. Please help.

October 30, 2015 at 20:07 #85116sharmstrModeratorThe stuff under the line can only be seen by you, mods and admins.
So, lets focus on this page: http://werpurple.org/drug_guide/. You do want the background image to start at the top so the with a transparent main menu, right? The issue is the padding isnt enough so the text is too high? Just trying to figure out how you had it before. I went in an set the top padding to 120 instead of 60. Take a look and tell me if that’s how its supposed to look.
The css code in Theme Options > General IS working. Its setting your font and caret to purple. But the way the css is written, it will only do it on transparent menus so that’s why its purple here: http://werpurple.org/drug_guide/ but not here: http://werpurple.org/the-purple-research-center/ If you also have purple set up in Theme Options > Styling, then perhaps you’re running into one of the issues outlined here: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/some-changes-in-theme-options-in-a-child-theme-wont-be-recognized
Now on this page: http://werpurple.org/the-purple-research-center/ there is not padding on the sides because you have the row set to “inner container: no”. Change it to yes.

October 30, 2015 at 20:24 #85118contivisionParticipantok, on the http://werpurple.org/drug_guide/, the background used to fill the page and the text “The Purple Drug Guide is a unique resource that combines detailed drug data with comprehensive drug target information as well as drug pricing information. This resource is presented free for parents and doctors to do quick, accurate research on the drugs that they are using/prescribing.” was under the menu bar. Now the page is slammed to the top and the bottom just show whit and the content is way up top (see attached)
On the http://werpurple.org/the-purple-research-center/ – thanks, I fixed the inner container issue but I am still seeing the page title in the menu area. this is happening on all the pages. Thanks for your help!!

http://werpurple.org/the-purple-research-center/ The page title was under the logo because you had transparent main menu turned on in theme options. For the way you have your site set up, that should be set to off and only turn on at the page level for those pages that need it. I’ve fixed that for you.
