    Hey guys,

I’ve a CPT where I don’t want comments to be submitted. Hence I disabled it in the CPT UI, yet while the comment function itself is disabled, it still shows “0 comments” under every entry. See for instance here: https://fslci.org/universities/universite-de-bordeaux/

Any idea how I could hide this – obviously I don’t want to hide the full comment section via CSS, which would then apply to all kinds of other post types where I need the comment functionality?!

Side note: There’s a topic called “How to remove “0 comments” from bottom of pages with comments turned off?” which could have answered my question, but I get the “You cannot reply to this topic.” message. This is certainly one of my biggest issues with your forum. I often find that others have the same questions / issues and then I can’t see the conversation. Having a support forum where I can’t benefit from answers that have already been provided makes little to no sense to me, so maybe you want to rethink this “private ticket” option. Make the tickets public as standard and if people need to share sensitive data, they have the field to do so already here anyhow. It would also decrease your workload, as I guess there are many people like me out there who prefer to search and get the solution from already existing conversations rather than opening new tickets all the time… Just a suggestion 😉

    Thanks in advance!

    Dear all,

in case anyone runs into a similar problem, I solved it by using https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-comments/ for disabling comments entirely for the post types in question 🙂

    All good!
