Hi there,
I have two questions regarding sidebars:
1) I know that, on the dashboard, the system allows for us to create sidebars. I have made one successfully, which is displaying in the widgets area. However, I see I can choose sidebars for posts and pages, but where can I choose the sidebars for the Site-Wide Activity page and the member profile page?
2) In the screenshot in attachment, I have taken a picture of one of my sidebars (this one is currently displaying on the Activity and the member profile pages because I don’t know how to separate them). You will see that the Recent Posts section is displaying with beautiful layout and Avatars (it is a Kleo widget), but the Recent Comments box is displaying without any layout. Is it possible to make the layout of the Recent Comments exactly the same as the Recent Posts section?
Thank you.
Regards,
Yin

BuddyPress pages inherit the default sidebar from WordPress, you can use a plugin like Widget Logic to limit the widgets display to X https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/.
For example, entering the below into the widget’s field ‘Widget Logic’ will only display a widget if the page is a BuddyPress page
bp_current_component()
Similarly we can make a widget only show if the page is not a buddypress page
!bp_current_component()
The first two widgets you show are from BuddyPress and KLEO and are specific to that plugin and this theme, the other is the default WordPress comments widget and has no special features like the above two widgets. Unfortunately there is not much you can do with it – you may have luck searching the plugin repository for Comments / Replies Widget plugins to extend or replace this widget.
Thanks,
Kieran
