I found this the topic that addressed the issue of setting up a redirect to the Member’s page:
    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/redirect-user-to-their-profile-after-login

However, I’m calling on the developer to add this function to the theme’s code in the next update. This is the most logical action for any site of this purpose, and should not require a function in a child theme to complete.

Secondly, I have been unable to find a way to remove the text covering my homepage image, which still references the stock image in the demo content. Please advise.

I got the redirects on my site working with a plugin:

I’ll look into that, thank you!

It just seems to me that once you log in to a site with this theme, the logic direct would be to the users’s profile page.

Also – I think that while the theme is very nice, it would be wise of the dev team to make the features of this theme available as a plugin, so that the “dating” features, etc of the site could be used with any theme. I see unlimited uses for it as a plugin.

    Hi troy14
    Thanks for your suggestions
We will see how we can integrate the redirection into the theme but it is more related to wordpress itself and user preference to do the redirection. That can be achieved with lots of plugins or with our code.

You can change that image from Sweetdate – Homepage

I was able to change the image without issue, but there appears to be some text that describes the picture still covering part of the image.
Something about sweet couple from 123rf.com, and it has a tagline. It doesn’t matter what image I use, the text is still there.

I can help you with that… Go to Sweetdate theme -> Homepage -> Home Image – Background Type (Select None on the Dropdown Menu).
