I have 2 types of users:
– The publishers (media)

ModeratorBuddypress has user types now. You can create 2 new types and assign users to them. I personally use the BP Member Type generator plugin to create the types: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-member-type-generator/ Once you do that you’ll have a filter on your member page for each type and even a member specific directory if you want. More info: https://codex.buddypress.org/developer/member-types/

ParticipantHi,
I have used the BP Member Type Generator, but I did not know how to filter them from the Member Grid.
I have checked the more info link you have shared but did not understand anything, do I need to change the code?!
Anyway, can you please let me know if there is an easy way to filter from the admin? and when you say Member page, you are talking about the Member grid element right?
Thanks alot

ModeratorNo, I dont mean member grid. I mean the member directory. The member grid shortcode wont allow you to do that.

ModeratorYes I mean http://www.yoursite.com/members. You cant edit it like a normal page. Buddypress doesnt work that way. You will see the filter when you visit the page.
