I’m using the search form, and whenever a user clicks the search icon to submit the search, it redirects to a page that says 404 error, however, there are results because they show up in the dropdown when typing in the search field.
If i select a result from the dropdown, i go direct to that post. If i type a keyword, and click the search icon, I get the 404 error.

Hi,
Try to re-save permalinks from wp-admin -> settings -> permalinks -> save changes
If it’s the same try to do the next, de-activate child theme then check again, if it’s useless de-activate all plugins + child theme to check
