I have the “Social Articles” plugin installed and until I updated to your 4.0 version of Kleo, it was fine. Now since the update, I get a 404 error when trying to access the articles page or the create new article page.

I have activated alternate themes and they don’t have a problem, but as soon as I switch back to Kleo again, the 404s come back.

I have seen you tell people your theme has nothing to do with permalinks. But I believe your theme conflicts with that free plugin from the WordPress Repository.

Hello, have you tried to resave Settings – Permalinks? Somehow this happens in WordPress from time to time but it should not be related with KLEO

As I said, I have changed themes and the problem goes away. I have tried multiple other themes and there is no problem with them. If I were inexperienced at this I would presume you are correct. However, having managed support forums myself for five plus years, I practiced what I preach.

I disabled other plugins, reverted to the default theme(s) and premium themes (just to make sure) and flushed permalinks. Nothing changed the result of activating Kleo again. The same problem persists. And given there is only one plugin with the 404 issue while Kleo is activated, I rather had my doubts there would be an issue with the permalinks.

I totally understand what you are saying but KLEO does not interfere in Social Articles functionality and we just made it look good on our theme, nothing to affect permalinks.
I just tested locally and no error for me. Have you resaved the permalinks settings while having KLEO active?
