a few questions about theme options

Hello,

I recently bought your theme and I’m very pleased with it!

I do have a few issues which I could not understand how to resolve or find where to change their settings.

 

Before everything I’ll try to make my final goal clear.

We want to create a “3 stages” for our users’ registration: first, users will create an account that will have to be approved by admin, than after approval, they will be restricted from viewing content until paying a membership fee.

Only after paying the fee will they have full access to the website content, for the period of time which they paid for.

My issues are:

1. Pending members – how do I force admin approval for new accounts?

2. How do I force admin approval for facebook signups?

3. How can I change profile privacy default option and other options? I want to have only 2 – can be viewed by friends | can be viewed by everyone (only other paying members)

4. How can I have a smart keyword search field – the default search field only searches in pages and not in users profiles. even searching an existing user’s name results with no matches now.

5. How can I make a popup notification for 1st time users to prompt them to fill out more information in their profile?

6. How can I make the “profile | logout” links to always show, even in the sticky menu

Forgot the state regarding the memberships – I already did restrictions for non-members in the membership sweetdate tab, but it still does not restricts viewing content without purchasing member ship.

Hello 🙂
1- Try https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/bp-registration-options/
2- That is a bit more difficult, if #1 doesnt work with it, then you will need a developer to integrate it
3- Check https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-profile-visibility-manager/ But as buddypress has now that feature as a core, this plugin is a bit useless. To change buddypress core features you will need the help of a developer
4- You could use the ajax search plugin
5- With a plugin for popups, check in codecanyon or wordpress repository, i think there are a couple that can do that 🙂
6- That is not available right now
