A new profile field group doesn’t show the tab

Hi,

I created a new profile field group and I added a textarea field. The problem is when the user writes something in the textarea field the new tab on the profile doesn’t appear. I deleted the field group and I created a new but still the same.

I also added more fields to the new field group but whatever I do the tab on the profile doesn’t appear.

Do you know where I have to start looking to solve this?

Hi,

Make sure to have all things updated, theme , plugins and wordpress.

Check also if you deactivate child theme it works.

If it’s the same provide to me the credentials to take a closer look.

Its all up updated, theme, plugins, and WordPress.

I deactivate child theme but it didn’t work.

I also deactivated all the plugins except BuddyPress but it didn’t work.

I enabled the debug from the wp-config but there are no errors.

I’ll give credentials for the WordPress admin console.

Hi,

I found what was the problem.
I looked in the database at the table bp_xprofile_groups and I saw that the first 3 profile field group that I don’t have any problem, their ID was 1,2,3 and the problematic profile field group was 7.

I changed it to 4 and now its ok.
After I changed it, all the created field that was inside that profile field group was disappeared, so I went to the table bp_xprofile_fields and I found the profile fields that I had and I changed the group id to 4 also.
