about the "Create a group" button

Dear SeventhQ Support,

I have been searching for the ‘create a group’ button all day ..

Only to find out that the button is located right beside the header of the group page where it shows the address of the current directory?

Is this theme optional or default setting from the theme ? If i want to put the button somewhere else

maybe like beside the navigation (or the search) tab what can i do ?

I also would like the button to be appeared in the BP groups page.

Please support me with an idea to perform this.

You can add this link to the template files you want to modify from the theme:

There seems to be no change.

No “create a group” button was created on the groups directory of the buddypress.

Hello,

You need to follow the link structure from your site and add it in the template files using html tag.

You need development skills for this.

Dear Catalin,

Is there any easier way to use the create a group button using the default setting in your theme?

I have requested in the other topic about not wanting to show the address line for directory but i know that the default setting for a create a group button shows right beside it.

Could i not have the directory showing (clean) but only show the create a group button ?

Can you think of a way to achieving this ?

Otherwise, i will try to look into that development skills you talked above.

Just made a button and put an URL on that button for group creating page.

Easy and simple.
