In some cases the user deletes the activation email accidentally or does not receive the email.
For that reason i activate the user manually. (change user role)
I also tried the buddypress plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-pending-activations/
With that plugin i resended the activation key to a user, so that the person could register.
It is also possible to activate the account manually with that plugin.
But the problem is, all users i activated manually are not shown at the members page. “/members”
So how can I activate users manually so that they are shown in the members page.
    Thanks for help.

Edit: I tested it again… maybe it does not work, because i changed the user role at the users directory manually, BEFORE i used the plugin. Only using the plugin the activation works fine. Anyway, how can i add a user manually to the members directory.

Hi, I think buddypress shows only users that have logged in at least once. Try this trick: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/show-users-in-site-right-before-account-activation

Yes you are right, it shows the users only if they have logged in one time. So this is ok for me.
