Activate VC in Kleo welcome/addons Crashes Admin

Hey,

Kleo/VC breaks in admin upon activation.

Process:

Base plugins active (about 50), excluding VC (via Kleo)

Activate several (10-12) additional plugins one by one

Everything is fine after each activation in both frontend and admin

Go to Kleo/Welcome/Addons/ and activate VC

Upon any subsequent page change in admin, site 404’s to frontend.

The frontend still works fine, but can NOT login in to the admin, attempt 404’s on all subsequent tries.

WP 4.8
Kleo 4.2.6
VC 5.1.1
WP mem 768M
on php 7.0.18

If I revert to php 5.6.30, (which I shouldn’t have to do) this problem goes away.

Note to support, I have not been able to recreate this issue. After it happened several times, specifically to that plugin in Kleo, we felt that was the issue. Now we made some additional tweaks to htaccess and php.ini and seem to have resolved the issue. We will continue to test on a dev server and will update or open another ticket if the issue returns.
