    Hi,
I’m having problem with the sweetdate theme enabling wpml plugin: when I enable it the widget sidebars disappear from the widget customization page. I tried to switching to the default theme and the problem doesn’t occur (the default sidebars are there, but I need to view the sweetdate sidebars) so I think the problem is related to the theme and not to the WPML. I tried to reinstall from scratch but no resolution, installing WPML versions 3.1.9.7 and 3.2.3 but no resolution.

Can you help us with this issue?

    Thanks

    Admin: http://www.face-gay.com u:facegay p:12F02d1979cd73?@

    To reproduce the bug:
    1. Enter backoffice
    2. Go to the widgets admin page: as you will see, sidebars and widgets are correctly displayed
    3. Go to the plugins admin page
    4. Search for WMPL plugin and activate it
    5. Return to the widgets admin page: as you will see, sidebars and widgets are disappeared

if you deactivate the SweetDate theme and enable another one, you’ll se the widgets and sidebars are correctly displayed (obviously the sidebars available in that theme are displayed correctly, not the ones we need to the get sweetdate theme to work).

    Thanks,

    Hi,

This issue appeared when you had WPML activated but not the additional wpml string translation and wpml translation management plugins installed and activated as well.

I have fixed this for the next update, if you want to make use of this fix meanwhile please provide me an ftp account so I can patch your theme.

Cheers and thanks for helping us find this issue.
