Activation Key

Hi,

For the first time I created an user account. I received a confirmation mail. I clicked on the url of the confirmation mail.  It gave a message invalid activation key with the message Please provide activation key.

Is any configuration required to receive activation key or how do I make it work?

Hi, by default Buddypress should send you to a page where the account is automatically confirmed. Trying to access that page again could make this happen.
If you want you cab disable this step by installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-disable-activation-reloaded/

I am asking disabling the activation key and not the activation mail.
Without any theme using the buddy press, it is possible to enable or disable the activation mail.
Once the mail is activated, the user will become active.
Beyond this, buddy press does not ask for any further credentials like activation key.

I think you are not reading my answer. Insgave you a link with a plugin that does that and the theme does nothing about the activation key…. IS ALL BUDDYPRESS

Also you need to properly test if indeed is a theme problem before posting here.
And when I recommend something to you then you should consider it since you are a novice in wordpress and I have built themes in wordpress.

I read your answer and went to the plug in page also.
So only I wanted clarification from you.
Before buying this theme, I have tried with buddy press also.

Kleo does not interfere in the BuddyPress registration/activation process so that should only be related to the plugin and that is why I suggested the deactivation plugin since the key part belongs to BuddyPress
