Activation link not activating

Hi there,

I’ve searched all forums posts and wondering if there is a list of possible problems why the activation link being sent to new subscribers is not actually activating them in the dashboard.

At the moment even though new subscribers receive the activation email and the link when clicked leads them to the “Activate Page” which is nothing more than a blank page (is there a shortcode I should use on this page), and they stay as a pending subscriber in the admin dashboard. I need to activate them manually from there.

What could be the cause of this?

Hello, have you tried deactivating your plugins but buddypress and testing it?

Bingo. I had the W3 Total Cache plugin that I had installed recently. Seems this was the culprit.
