How can I configure the activity feed to only show for the users their friends activity without the possibility of seeing activity of any other users?

Look for a plugin or ask on the Buddypress forums. Kleo only stylizes the output from Buddypress.

Ok, I was asking because I tried to modify from wordpress plugin the function on buddypress but people say that I must modify the functions.php of the theme KLEO. I already done it, but it give an error.

Never modify anything in /themes/kleo/ You can put something in /themes/kleo-child/functions.php if you have the child theme enabled.

But again, Kleo only stylizes the output. To change the output of BP you need a plugin or some custom code.
