Add content to BuddyPress pages

I’m trying to add some content to my BuddyPress pages but after publishing nothing appears.

Hi @sqadmin.

That topic doesn’t help as I have a different problem.

My BuddyPress pages show fine. However, if i want to add some text or a shortcode in members page above member directory, for example, the new content is not added after I publish.

Hi,
Text added in those pages won’t show because they are mapped to buddypress components and will show only buddypress content.
To show content before you can edit buddypress specific templates if you like or use the existing hooks to add content
