Add Facebook/LinkedIn like losing to top of landing page

I’m using the new Home Register Landing Page (v4.0) – its exactly what I’ve been looking for.  I’m trying to figure out how to add a login to this page in the same way Linkedin and Facebook has the login across the very top of the page.

How do I do this?

Thanks for getting back!!  I’m not graphics guy but something like the attached.  If you look at home page of Facebook or linked in they have this on the lading page.
