add specific sidebar to page

I think i’m overlooking this, but i can’t find an option to assign a (freshly created) sidebar to a page. When i change the template of a page to “content with right sidebar”, the default sidebar is shown. How can i add a specific (chosse one myself) sidebar to a page?

Go into page editor and choose the sidebar you want from the dropdown (probably at the bottom of the window). If you cant see it, click on screen options in the upper right and enable it.
