Add SSL in parts of the website, recommended or not?

I’m thinking of adding SSL in certain parts of the website. What do you think is the best approach?

Yeah, I found one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ that can do this. I’m only thinking of for example using ssl, checkout, registration, password page. The problem of using ssl of the whole site is that it can slow it down quite a bit.. But also there isn’t any indications of what is best or what approach works best..

@splendor I don’t know what to say about that. please try to find solutions online and a plugin will probably do the job or some custom code
