Adding Sidebar to Register Page?

As the subject says,

how do I get a sidebar for the register page? ive tried adding in WP pages, but the sidebar fails to show?

Hi, You should edit wp-content\themes\sweetdate\registration\register.php and add modify the template to show a sidebar.
You need to make the main content smaller by changing line 8 twelve columns to eight columns and add <?php get_sidebar(); ?> just before get_footer( ‘buddypress’ ) line

This does not work for me, sidebar just goes under the forms, looks a mess,

I just wnat account details to be at the top, with profile details to sit, nicely underneath, and not side by side. If that makes sense?

Hi, any customizations to the register page are done here wp-content\themes\sweetdate\registration\register.php

You require basic HTML, CSS, PHP knowledge.
try replacing “six columns” with “twelve columns”

tried that, It just squashes everything to the left,

Account Details – Profile Details

Whereas I need it to look like

Account Details = Sidebar
Profile Details = Sidebar

Sorry, I don’t really understand what you need to accomplish. For any customizations please hire a developer to help you since it is out of the scope of this support forum
