Today I tried to log into the backend of my company’s site and I got the “White Screen of Death” after plugging in my credentials. When I deactivate “WPBakery Visual Composer 4.3.4,” I can access the backend without any problems. However, all the code on the front-end is broken. Any ideas why this could be happening? Was there any update that broke the code? Thanks in advance!

January 9, 2015 at 22:44 #41531sharmstrModeratorYou should be running 4.3.5 You can install it from the the Kleo 2.3.1 zip file on theme forest.
Forgot to add that 4.3.4 doesnt work with WP 4.1. That’s why you’re getting that.

January 10, 2015 at 00:37 #41556sharmstrModeratorI’m looking at it now. I’m looking for things that stand out as possible conflicts. Do you know if VC pricing boxes works with the latest version of vc? Did you try disabling that and then enabling VC? I dont want to do it because 1 – I dont want to screw with a live site and B – I dont want to lock myself out.
In almost every instance I’ve seen this, its a plugin conflict that causes it. We know that VC had an issue with WP 4.1. We have no idea if any of your other plugins do. And to be honest, we dont support VC, only the Kleo customized VC shortcodes.
We know that WP 4.1, Kleo 2.3.1, K-elements 2.3, Rev Slider 4.6.5, BP 2.1.1, bbPress 2.5.4, PMPro 1.7.15.2 and VC 4.3.5 work without issue together. My suggestion is disable all plugins besides those and see if you still have the issue. If you do, then let me know. If you don’t, then start enabling all the extra plugins you have one by one to see where the issue is.

January 10, 2015 at 00:52 #41559UmstadterParticipantAs it turns out the “White Label Branding” plug was the conflict. I turned it off and uninstalled it. Both the backend and the frontend are working fine now. Thank you so much for helping me troubleshoot the issue with our site!
