I just purchased sweetdate and just wondering if it’s necessary to install sweetdate child? what’s the advantage of installing sweetdate child

does the theme support adding banners like adsense? Do I need to modify the theme to add banners or does it come with a ready made space for it?

does the theme support advanced-ads?

Hi,

Read about child themes : https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

The theme supports html and js content in text blocks that you can add them to sidebar or in a widgetized area and if you want to make custom modifications to the theme you can use child theme.

Yes the theme can support any type of ad, but i don’t know what do you mean by advanced ads

when doing a search some fields are required, how can I make them optional?

when doing a search most dating sites have a an option to show profiles with pictures only. is this possible with sweetdate? if so how it can be done?

Hi,

You can choose what field to be required from wp-admin -> users -> profile fields http://localhost/wp-admin/users.php?page=bp-profile-setup ( replace localhost with your domain )

Select your field ( press EDIT ) from right side ( Requirement ) set no required.

Hi,

In sweetdate this option is not available, if you want to implement this you need to /hire a developer.
