Hi Andrei,
I think it’s unlikely to be the CAPTCHA, as even when we had the conflict with the s2member issue (see original thread: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/log-in-not-redirecting-to-page ) it let me login as usual as an admin, but did that funny “You are already logged in. Please refresh page” behaviour for a member login – and I’ve had the CAPTCHA (by BulletProof Security) on the wp-login.php page the same throughout.
Also the Ajax popup login now sometimes works properly (since updating to Kleo 3.0.9) and sometimes not – yet was fixed one time by clearing the cache from within the backend.
At present the popup is working again OK… so when it next fails, I’ll deactivate the CAPTCHA and retry and will post back here.
Cheers, J

So I don’t experience any issues, would you recommend upgrading WP and then Kleo 3.0.9 or vice versa.
Also I notice that when users are logged in and enlarge photos on the iPhone, or try to post photos/audio in the activity on a mobile device it automatically shuts the screen down and logs them off, even when logged in to remember the log in credentials. Will this also be fixed with the upgrade?
October 1, 2015 at 08:16 #802295high-photohubParticipantHi again Andrei,
OK, the popup login is now NOT working; so I disabled the JTC Hacker CAPTCHA as you requested (which is ONLY on my wp-login.php) and it made no difference… still endless spinning and not logging in (as screenshot attached). I will leave it off until you’ve looked at the site again.
Also I won’t clear the cache this time in the backend, so you can look at the problem for yourself. Can you check it out soonish? (same login details as before).
Many thanks – will be interested to see what you think is the issue. j

I’ve just got notification of an update for Zen Cache (Lite & pro) for a bug fix related to having more than 1 istance of declaring wp_cache in wp-congig.php. This is their github ticket for this issue FYI: https://github.com/websharks/zencache/issues/509
So I’ll update ZenCache soon and will let you know if it’s had any impact on this login problem or not…
October 11, 2015 at 05:02 #81764AndreiModerator@econstreams, can you provide admin credentials to your site ? if you’re using wp-super-cache, do you have any custom settings because I just tested it and there is no issue with it in my test site ..
@topnation, for other issues please open a separate ticket, let’s keep this only for the login issue, thanks.
@5high-photohub let me know if the issue still persist so I can try to investigate further into your case.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionOctober 14, 2015 at 08:58 #821955high-photohubParticipantHi Andrei,
I’ll update you when I can review it properly again – unable to do so now due to family emergency.
Thanks for your ongoing help with this, j.February 4, 2016 at 00:12 #1019615high-photohubParticipantHi Andrei,
Ok, well generally the ajax pop-up login works – though it does have its ‘moments’ of not working, with just the endlessly spinning wheel thingy. And this ONLY ever seems to happen on our front page login link (Kleo login link in the menu) but always OK now from the other 2 public pages (using the SAME Kleo login link in the menu) – very weird! So I am keeping an eye on it, as it is only occasionally that it happens now, and have asked for feedback from members too. Will keep you updated…
But one thing that is still different is that if I log in as an admin, it shows the green text ‘Login successful. redirecting…’; but if I login as a member it never shows this (from any page), just the same original text until it redirects to my login welcome page – I’ve attached screenshots FYI.
Is this as it should be, or not?
Cheers,
Jenny

March 4, 2016 at 03:23 #108428AndreiModeratorHi @5high-photohub, your issues seems to be related to some security plugin that you might have activated, can you please deactivate them and let me know if everything works fine without any security plugins ? And if this is the issue maybe you can point me the name of the plugin that makes problems so I can investigate more.
Cheers

Thanks for getting back to me. It’s still happening occasionally, under the same circumstances as I mentioned before – very weird!
At present I’m sorting out an odd issue with the install of s2member pro. Once this is fixed I will deactivate the security plugin (Bullet Proof Security Pro – info and brilliant forum for it here: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/forum/bulletproof-security-pro/) and re-test for a week or so and will update you then.
Cheers,
jMarch 18, 2016 at 04:57 #1114515high-photohubParticipantHi Andrei,
OK sorted out the s2member hiccup, so now taking another look at the final problem for the ajax popup login not working.
Current problem: Kleo login link (for ajax popup login) in menu NOT working when accessed via the Home page BUT is always works fine if accessing the same menu link via the membership or Contact page (ie: any of our other public pages). Although just occasionally it does work! so a bit variable…
I have deactivated our security JTC Hacker input text for all login pages for the last few months and no change.
It definitely works if I log into the site by another route and clear the cache, log out and then retry via the front page = always works. But if I deactivate the cache plugin it still produces variable results, so it doesn’t seem to be the main problem.
I’ve just tested deactivating our security plugin (kept it active but set it to default mode which is used for testing) and I was immediately able to login via the menu link on the Home page. So it may be having some effect, though it’s very weird that it’s only on the Home page.
I really don’t want to leave my security plugin in default mode, so I have set it back to it’s usual settings. So if you could look at this I’d really appreciate it.
The security plugin I use is BulletProof Security Pro and it’s an amazing plugin with incredibly good support from it’s author for both the free and the pro version. The support site is here: http://forum.ait-pro.com/ and the wordpress one is here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulletproof-security/.
Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like me to test.
Many thanks j
