All styles complete collapse when activating kleo child

Hi

I’ve been banging away trying to fix this all day without success. Following a WP reinstall, when I install the Kleo and Child themes and activate the child theme, the styles are completely screwed. Nothing at all like they are supposed to be. It’s all just white with black lines everywhere.

If I activate the Kleo theme without the child, then the styles will work okay. But not the child. Obvious I want the child working so all my changes are not lost.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling both themes, deactivating, reactivating – clearing browser cache, everything I can think of.

Please can you tell me what is going on with the styles thanks.

Hello, that is usually related to cache of the server that doesnt load your style.css correctly or takes time to do it, have you tried to contact hosting provider? they could try to turn off cache and see if that helps

Ok great my host has disabled caching and the styles have come back. Thanks for your help.

I will reactivate the other 2 support queries now 😉
