Multiple users tells me, that they cannot login to my website by Facebook Login.
I’m using the standard integrated Facebook-login from KLEO. Pretty simple to set up.
The majority of the troubled souls, are using Android platforms. So I’d figured it had something to do with it?Lots of other user does not experience the problem. I’m not sure if they are on Android or not.
I hope anybody can help me out 🙂
Thanks in advance!Martin

It’s different types of users, with different types of OS’s and browsers/platforms.
But not all user, only some – but still a huge flaw, leaving people to cancel and disappear from my site.
– Of course, as login should be of no problem at all! What happens is also different.
Most of all, it opens a new windows, where the fb-app requests permission for email and such.
Then it says, that you have to close that popup window, before it logs in on the main site-window (that’s when it works!)Other times it does nothing, after closing the popup window.
At other times, nothing happens at all.
And for my own case, it only returns the site with a hashtag in the end of the url… That’s weird though, as it had been working for my admin-user (i does not work with my user anymore)
Please, I need some help on this one. Been trying to go through the codes in function-facebook-login.php
But it seems there are some KLEO functions included in the FB scripts, when comparing to the FB developers page-code guides… So I’m not really fancying messing with it.
If needed, ask for more information, and I’ll supply with answers – I think this is a common problem in the software, rendering people leaving without a word about it – or of course, manually registering, but I think that’s not the path for most people.
Help! 🙂
Kind regards

Clicking on the facebook login button, a pop-up windows appears, but closes very quickly.
After a while a message appears: “Please click again to login with Facebook and allow the application to use your email address”Then I click again… And nothing! Until the message reappears in a continous loop.

I have uinstalled Bulletproof and SEO optimizer.
Though, I do have Worfence – not feeling secure with that off; but then again I’m not sure if it’s needed at all? What do you recommend, as a minimum, regarding safety?
I can disable them all for you to test it again.. Just need to know what is needed, and what is not. Thanks 🙂
November 25, 2014 at 14:21 #36542AbeKeymasterplease disable them temporarily just for you to see where the problem is. Do the tests and see when is fine

But anyhow: Would you suggest having any plugins for security (like Wordfence) ?
Only reason asking is, that the software makers of the plugins, and their bloggers around the net, thinks we should install all of them (sure – but is it needed?)…But back to topic – I’m about to disable them now.
