Hi – I have Kleo and Kleo child installed on my WP. Only the Kleo Child is active. I want to update Kleo parent from 4.1.7 to 4.1.8 but it is not active and when I hit the update button the update fails. Is the Kleo parent supposed to be active at the same time as the child?

    Thank you!

Hello, did you add your themeforest username and api?
You could also update it manually bu installing the new version of the main theme, just delete your and install the new one. The child theme should never be deleted, you do not need to update that one

Thank you Laura. My question is also is the parent theme supposed to be active as well as the child being active? Or is only the child theme active? I only have the child theme active. Is that correct?

Hello, you can only have one theme active. Yes, its correct, the child theme is used as a backup for changes. 🙂
