Assign default Membership level at registration

Hi!

Instead of the plugin Paid Memberships Pro i use the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/membership/.
Because I want a Ideal pay plugin, Paid Memberships Pro doesn’t support that.

Now i have the following problem. I am trying to create that only men have to pay for any membership, while women get free access and all functions. Is there a way I can just charge men for all levels of memberships, and not charge women for anything?

I saw a line of code for this here: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/membership-auto-in-registration#post-5411. But this is written for the plugin Paid Memberships Pro. Can anyone help me to write this for the Membership plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/membership/

hi, in that code you can see we used a function to assign the free level is the user is a Woman. You should ask the developers for a similar function for that plugin.
