Author Avatar in not appearing in post list meta

I’ve looked around and applied the troubleshooting from the following link Display User Avatar In Post

What it DOES do for me instead is show the author’s name as a link in the meta section.

After entering that code it DOES show the author avator in the actual article page.

I have author avatar active in blog section of theme options and also profile link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you’ve added any code from the link you provided, remove it. All you need to do is make sure you have “Author Avatar” and “Profile Link” selected in Display Meta Fields.
