Is there a way to disable auto registration (WordPress account creation) when logging in with Facebook? We want to make sure the registration coming into our website has a valid invitation code. If Kleo automatically creates an account with a successful Facebook login, there’s no way for us to block invalid users from accessing our content.
October 31, 2018 at 23:37 #212531oneskysandyParticipantI just realized how unclear my question is. I would like to modify the Facebook registration process such we capture the BuddyPress User Profile Fields before the user is automatically registered using their Facebook account. The user shouldn’t have access and the account shouldn’t be activated until they provide the necessary fields in the BuddyPress User Profile. Is this possible?

Are there other alternatives?
2) Is there a way to disable auto Facebook registration, but allow Facebook login? Is there a hook we can use here?
3) Also, is there a way for my child theme to overwrite Kleo parent functions such as
wp-content/themes/kleo/kleo-framework/lib/function-facebook-login.php
I tried just copying that file into my child theme and modifying it, but it doesn’t seem to work.
November 4, 2018 at 21:37 #212813LauraModeratorHello, 🙂
1- sadly I do not know any other plugin that does this.
2- I’m not sure i understand you, as usually Facebook register and login is the same, because if the user is not at the database it registers it. There are other plugins for Facebook login you could try to test a few
3- you need to copy the path of folders so it looks exactly as the main theme. Not paste it directly at the child theme but create every folder that leads to the file and then paste it insideHi there!!!
