Hello,

My members don’t want to upload pictures for their profile. Can any features of KLEO theme or any plugins assign an automatic avatar as a profile picture to my current or new members? There is a picture of my members who don’t have any profile pictures, buy only a grey person figure.

Thanks for reaching out about default avatars, there are many plugins that will achieve this for you in the WordPress plugin repository, you can see search results for this term here https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/default+avatar/.

It may be a little bit of trial and error finding one that works for you and your setup, but you should be able to find something.

Hi,

I’ve only ever had a need once to use an avatar other than the Mystery Man and I used this plugin BuddyPress First Letter Avatar https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-first-letter-avatar/. It’s a bit of a different take on the idea so I do not know if this works for you or not. You can replace the images used with your own.

The avatar is a core part of WordPress and not really related to theme or plugin, and with little reason to manipulate it, I have just never learned much about it. Though that said, there probably isn’t that much to learn about it.
