ParticipantI have added some fields in to the base group but they do not appear on the registration page.
They do appear on the users’ profile page. I have extended profiles enabled and have not installed any other plugins than those contained in the original bundled together items.
What must I do to show my custom registration fields on the registration page? Â Can I specify different questions for different membership types?

ModeratorThat’s not your bp registration page though. You’re confusing PMPro registration with BP registration.
PMPro has information on their site that will allow you to add BP extended profile fields to their form. http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/2015/02/update-buddypress-profile-additional-user-information-registration/

ParticipantThank you.
I installed the two plugins suggested by PMPro and enabled ‘anyone can register’ in general settings as well as setting the buddy press Register and checkout Pages, which allowed me to customise the register page fields as desired. However,
When I register an account I do not receive an email confirmation. The user appears in the backend as ‘pending’ but because they don’t receive an email they cannot confirm account registration themselves. Why might that be?November 16, 2015 at 04:40 #87460kamikawa

At first When I was just using PMPro I could set up different membership types easily.
I wanted to customise the registration page, so I integrated the Buddpress plugins for PMPro that allowed me to do this. I then set the buddy press pages for register to ‘checkout’ and activate to ‘Activate’.
But if I go to the member types page and sign up, after the buddy press registration ‘checkout’ form I have two problems:
1 – no confirmation email. Admin must do it from back end.
2 – the member type from PMPro is ignored. Does that mean that I cannot use the built in member types anymore and I have to create the different membership types and their costs via Buddypress? So my linkage to ‘checkout’ is incorrect? Please help! I have provided admin login details for you.

ModeratorThe link I gave you adds buddypress fields to the pmpro registration/checkout. If you want to go that route, then dont send people to the buddypress registration page.
Alternatively, there is code out there (google it) that will auto assign a PMPro level to a user who has registered via the Buddypress registration routine. But it really sounds like you just need to stick with the PMPro registration/checkout.
Please search before asking questions. The activation/confirmation question has been asked and answered several times. To fix issues with your host not sending emails, use a plugin like WP Mail SMTP
