I have a row with three columns. Each column has a 1px border set around it. In the row settings the field for “Between Columns Gap” is set to “Yes” which I would expect to provide a space between the columns so that the borders do not touch. However it appears to have no affect. I also tried to declare margins to the left and right of columns directly but that only caused them to wrap. How do I define the space that should appear between columns?

Can we have something like the call to action box setting where we can define the content width to be some % of the column width like 90% of 33.3%? Or can we define the between column gap directly in the row settings panel?

Normally it should work if you add the margins and padding from column options
Please provide admin credentials to take a look.

Please check now : http://cadsimplified3.wpengine.com/home-2/group-classes/
I added the content of the boxes in rows then the padding will be assigned from the rows.

It looks like you set the Between Columns Gap option to “no” and I see that by putting a new “row” inside each column you can set the margin there. But this seems like a strange work around. What is the purpose of the Between Columns Gap setting?
October 14, 2015 at 22:09 #82306AndreiModeratorHi Carla, we double checked and “Between columns gap” setting works correctly, but don’t know what happened in your case.
I see your current issue was resolved, please let me know if you need help with anything else.

Should you normally be able to set margins between columns without it wrapping? Or does it put in a pre-defined gap of X size? Any idea what we could try to get the theme functioning as expected? We’re hosted on WP Engine, if that makes any difference (I know you have a buddypress work around)
October 26, 2015 at 15:48 #84251AndreiModeratorThat option will add or remove a gap space between columns, the gap size is predefined and cannot be changed. I don’t know what happened in your case but I have given an extra test to this feature and everything works just fine.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
