Bigger image in the small left thumbnail configuration

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to make the image bigger in the small left thumbnail configuration. I like to have the image on the left and the text next to it, but with a bigger image.

I don`t want to do it with the posts grid option because it takes super long time to load the page.

I see the image is quite large compared to the size of the default image.
