    Hi,

I know you guys are very busy, I was just wondering if there was a way to have the birthday drop down fields on registration be labeled somehow (Day, Month, Year). Some members have told me it’s confusing because it’s setup as a European calendar (Day, Month, Year) versus American calendar which is (Month, Day, Year). If I could label which drop down is which I think that would clear up the confusion.

Thanks and let me know if this is possible,
    I appreciate your help,
    Nicholaus

I think it’s pretty clear which one is which as one field has Numbers (1-30), the other has the Month names and the final one has the Years. Doesn’t get much more clear than that? Having said that, I think a date ticker (calender) to select the year would be a great implementation for the next update though 🙂 Anyways keep up the good work sqadmin, I know you’re busy!

    Hi there,
Indeed because of the numbers you can’t select them wrong 🙂
If you want you can change the order in sweetdate/registration/register.php from line 145 to 163. Copy the file to sweetdate-child/registration/register.php and swap the fields in your preferred order.

Thank you for your help! I will swap the fields to display the month first.

    Thanks again,

Did the way this works change? I can’t find any of the date fields in the register.php file.

Unfortunately Buddypress now automatically generates those fields with some functions now and can’t be edited from that template
