Blank Pages / Refresh and Bad Links

I’m getting blank pages that need to be refreshed to load and sometimes the custom links in my menu will add an extra / (e.g. http://www.nerdlouisville.org/nerds/mike//groups/group-events/) that causes the page to need to be refreshed.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I’ve deactivated plugins but it didn’t seem to help. Do I need to reinstall WordPress?

I think I resolved the extra ‘/’ issue by just using ##profile_link##friends/ instead of ##profile_link##/friends/,

but blank pages that need to be refreshed still occurring.

I think I may have resolved the blank page issue. Had a plugin called iThemes Security causing it I believe.

Hi Mike,

If you want to keep your blog secure, try to use Wang-guard instead IThemesSecurity, test it.
