Blog and Quote Post

Hello, I want to center my Blog’s page title https://girlsgo.us/blog/ and have set it in the Title Setting, but cannot change the template. Also, I would love to use Visual Composer to add elements to the page, but it breaks the page. Is there any way to make it work without redesigning the blog template?

Also, I am using the quote post type, but would like to add a call to action button and tweet button with the quote. If I do so using visual composer, it also breaks the post excerpt on the blog page. I attached screenshots. Can you help me set this up properly and use VC?
