Sweetdate theme – The blog is a powerful marketing tool. How do I unrestrict it so new seekers and those interested can see what the site is about before registering?
Can individual blog pages be restricted for members only?
Thanks

Surely the ability to restrict or unrestrict the blog should be a feature?

After you create your membership levels you can select what post to be visible for visitors. You can also restrict certain posts to be visible for members only.
Please take a look at my screenshot also. The restrict option can be found on the right side of the edit page area from WordPress admin.
Thank you,

All my blog pages are by default only available to members.
I can’t untick the levels or make it open to the public.
See the attached screen capture – my version of what you uploaded – my 4 levels of levels of membership are all unticked yet the page is not visible to a non-member.
See the words “*This post is already protected for this level because it is within a category that requires membership.”
Thanks

You should create another membership level called “Free”. Also please take a look at this link:

I also disovered I needed to untick the “blog” category for each of my membership levels.
Then it wasn’t appearing by default and now I can choose which blogs to make visible and which to make for members only.Dene
