Blog overview page does not display any image included in post

When the “featured image” is not set, the blog overview page normally takes the first image in the post.

However, it does not do this.

Can you tell me why

Check Theme Options > Blog > Get Featured image from content

This is indeed set to “on”.
It pulls the first image for all other posts, except now.

It doesnt work because you used VC to build the post. Set a featured image for it.
