    Hi!

If I set up the featured image, it shows up as a really huge image in the post.

According to the forum, first image in the blog post should automatically become a featured image and will show up in a smaller size. BUT if I do not set the featured image and just put the image in the post (as adviced) it does not come up in a carousel on the blog page (see snapshot attached). How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

Do you have ‘get featured image from content’ enabled in theme options > blog?

Wait – That only works with the Kleo Posts shortcode. Not the VC posts shortcodes.

What you can do is set the featured image so it shows up in the VC shortcodes, then in your post, scroll down to Theme General Settings > Media and disable ‘show media’.
