Blogs permalinks

Hi
I have posted my first blog, I have these issue:
1. It is not displaying on blog post (I have created this under posts) – http://thefashionnetworking.com/blog/
2. The permalink should be sitename/blog/myfirstblog – but in my case it is – sitename/myfirstblog

I have looked in permalink setting, but no help. I have also added a category as “blog” along with event, thoughts, showcase. But I think it should be a parent category as “blog”, so that we it can appear under blogs.

You should google it. Its a common WordPress question. I found this, but didnt try it.
