Buddpress Menu Option

Kleo 2.2, WP 4.0.1, BP 2.1.1 local install

There is something that i am doing incorrectly and i just can’t work it out

on one install the menu options appear as in buddypress-ok.png

on the other install the menu options appear as in no-buddypress.png
(no buddypress option, no forums option)

Any solution -much appreciated

Click on screen options in the upper right and enable it.
