Buddy Press Custom Profile Fields

I wanted to add additional profile fields for users to fill out after they register. So, I created an additional custom fields in the admin portal under a new tab outside of “base”. However, it does not show to users after they sign in.

How can I fix this issue?

Also, is it possible for users to choose what type of member they would like to be in the registration page?

Update. I was able to fix the issue.

AFAIK you’ll have to use PMPro for registration, not buddypress. PMPro recently had a blog post on how to add buddypress fields to their registration process.
