I have used Kleo on a couple of sites and love it. Unfortunately I am having issues with buddypress on my site, TheFc.net. Buddypress is attracting significant bot traffic. Spam is not an issue as I am using a captcha to prevent it. BUT the site is getting hit with so much bot traffic that its maxing the cpu and memory resources knocking it off line. If I disable buddypress, the traffic immediately goes away. If I re-activate it, the traffic is back within 5 minutes. As such I have had to permanently disable buddypress and the social community I built into the site until I can find a soluion. Any thoughts on how to prevent these bot attacks?

Have you asked the BP developers? https://buddypress.org/support/search/bots/
