BuddyPress email notifications vs Yahoo and Hotmail

Hi…

I have everything set up.  I am using  the plugin WP MAIL SMTP to handle my outgoing mail.  I’ve set it up with Gmail API.  Test emails  were sent via the plugin to various gmail, hotmail, and yahoo emails and they arrived quickly.  Emails sent via Ninja forms on the site also works fine.

I’m not sure if it’s a general problem with BuddyPress or something else, but I haven’t found any solutions online for my issue.  All notifications get through fine with gmail accounts.  Hotmail registrations emails do not go through (not in spam either), but notifications like new messages do get sent.

In Yahoo, nothing works that’s BuddyPress related — registrations and notifications don’t go through.  Nothing in spam, either.  I have tried multiple scenarios, including manually resending registration emails via the backend.  Emails are not going through to Yahoo at all.

“Forgot Passwords” sent from the WordPress login and the BuddyPress login work great for all 3.

Have you heard of any issue with this, and would you have any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi,

I see, strange issue, in this case please check under wp-admin -> emails – > and makes sure you have an email created for every case.

Check if you encounter the same issue using default wp theme anyway the KLEO theme doesn’t not modify the email notifications logic.
